Education is integral for a better future and is key for any modern society.

And yet threats to our educational systems come from all directions.

The pandemic has dealt many blows to education, especially to primary schools.

Though technology that can potentially improve experience and outcomes has been available, most school systems lack funding for growth and innovation and are often resistant to change in general.

Alternative approaches have been discussed long before we were forced into so-called non-traditional or distance learning, a move that was made with little training or preparation.

Flipped classrooms reverse the standard model where lectures occur on class time and assignments are done at home. The logic is that lectures can be recorded and consumed at home along with readings but assignments are better suited for the classroom where instructors and peers can assist if a student is struggling. And this is only one example of how the classroom can be restructured.

How can technology be leveraged to improve primary education?

How can we change the structure of the classroom to better support learning?

How can the administration of school systems be improved to better serve the community?

Have any ideas about how the future of education can be brighter?

Put it in a story!
