It can be tricky navigating a world that is designed around assumptions that might not apply to you. It can even at times feel antagonistic.
However, an 'us and them' approach really does not serve anyone. Despite the conceptual model of a neurotypical thinker, there really is no such thing - we all exist on the same spectrum of cognition. It's just that some appear to function closer to an average while others may exhibit more obvious variations.
It has always been this way and the variety of thinking styles benefits society as a whole when we have cooperation and understanding.
What would a world look like that is inclusive of neurodivergent people? How could society function differently?
